I could barely get through today’s stand up without leaning up against the wall. The past two days of running finally caught up to me or at least my decision to run up my buildings stairs came with a next day gift of aching joints and sore muscles.

So today is my rest and recovery day. I’ve been spending a lot more time at home lately and enjoying this time to myself to take the time to cook, read, write and begin to design out my new portfolio. I find so much value in alone time and it’s something that wasn’t always easy for me but now really enjoy. These posts especially have been a great way for me to document this time alone.


Much like my runs, writing has slowly been becoming more habitual before bed. Though it’s only been a few days, I’ve noticed a significant change in my mood and motivation for working on personal project work just from these few daily changes I’ve made.
